Advice

In today's blog I will be talking about school. I will be giving advice from a personal experience and I hope you enjoy reading this post. It all started freshman year, I was always doing what I was supposed to and always did my homework and school work. At the time I had good grades. I went it whenever I needed help and I was on task when it came to learning. But for some odd reason as time went by I quickly grew into the habit of slacking and procrastinating. I decided to hang out with friends too much and waste my time on social media. I then noticed my grades begin to fall. I always told my self "I can bring that up tomorrow, no worries." but of course I never got around to it. Now I am a senior and I am realizing that I never should have lost focus of what really mattered, my grades. I am not saying I had horrible grades then, and I don't now but lets just say that I have lost certain opportunities that I should have been able to have. My point here is that school should always be a number one priority.

Life hack

Sometimes we are just too busy in life that we don't ever notice things that we should. things such as where you put your keys, remembering if you paid your bill or not, or even noticing that you ran out of laundry detergent. in this post I will be sharing how to make your own laundry detergent in the case where you're too lazy to get up and leave tp the store. For this hack you will need only three ingredients:

1 bar (or 4.5 ounces) shaved bar soap

1 cup washing soda

Use 1 Tbsp per small load (or 2-3 Tbsp for large or heavily soiled loads).
Thoroughly stir together for several minutes and enjoy the results!

Recipes

My favorite food of all time is hot wings, I can eat them every single day if I could. In this post I will be sharing how I make my wings. I hope you enjoy!

Heat oil in a deep fryer. The oil should be just enough to cover wings entirely, an inch or so deep.
Cook the wings for about 7-10 minutes or until golden brown
After that place all your cooked wings in a large bowl (I like to put paper towels at the bottom of the bowl to capture all the grease from the wings)
Set your bowl aside and place a smaller pan on the stove to make your buffalo sauce, for this you will need:
1 cup of hot sauce (of your choice)
½ cup melted butter
½ cup hot sauce
2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
pinch granulated garlic
pinch of salt
1 tbsp. cayenne pepper
Combined all of these into your medium heated pot until the butter is melted
pour the sauce on your bowl of wings and mix until the sauce is evenly distributed to each wing.
Enjoy!

I have a few people I look up to. people who have traits that I wish I could have. People who have great lives that I wish to have in the future. But someone I look up to without hesitation is my mother. My mom is my biggest role model. I want to be a good person because I want to make her proud. In other words, she makes me a better person. It all started when she left my Dad when I was three, and from there she did not beg him to stay nor beg him to help (although he did help lol). but Instead she moved us to a better environment and continued taking care of us and attending college. My mother had three children at the time and she continued to proceed with her education. My mother has always been an independent person, something I hope to be one day. My mom is also a hard worker, kind, funny, and super duper smart. I hope to adapt all these traits as an adult.

Advice: Living

In this post I will be giving advice about life in general. My first advice topic will be about going with the flow. I believe you should always do what makes you happy, you should never stress, and you should always accept change. When you do these things you wont worry as much as you do. There is a quote I  live by and it is from my favorite artist Mac Miller, it says "People change and things go wrong, but just remember that life goes on." I actually agree with this quote because it is very true, nothing every stays the same and we all have to learn to accept that. the  past I would be upset, when I lost friends or people in my life. but I learned that these things just happened and I shouldn't worry. Once I started  that I started living a better life. The point of this post was for me to encourage you guys to never stress over something you cannot control. Everything will work out in your favor. Always be optimistic!

There are many things on my mind lately. I am excited to finally know what blogging is like. I Have been watching scary movies lately and today is October 31st, (in other words)today is Halloween. Oddly, it does not feel like Halloween. Feels like just another day. I have been listening to a lot of Mac Miller lately. I am preparing to get ready for my first concert, that I will be attending on the sixteenth of November..I don't watch a lot of t.v, but if I am watching t.v I am either watching friends, or orange is the new black. I have also been thinking a lot about my future. Things such as: which college I would like to attend, what I want my major to be, and even what I want to be when I grow up. All these questions I have been asking myself and I have no answer to any of these. I am to hoping that don't make the wrong decision about my future. Anyways, on a positive note, I took a bomb nap yesterday afternoon. I love naps so much.

Life Hack: Coffee Cubes

My fist post will be a life hack. I enjoy reading and trying out hacks because they make life so simple! Although I personally don't like coffee, this simple hacks will help all of those who love iced coffee but don't like how the melted ice changes the flavor of your drink because it is watered down and nasty :( This is called "Coffee Cubes." This trick will give you long lasting coffee flavor, while keeping it cold. The steps include:
  1. Pour the freshly brewed coffee into the ice cube tray.
  2. Place the ice cube tray in the freezer.
  3. Freeze the coffee liquid until solid.
  4. Add the ice cubes to your favorite iced coffee drink and enjoy. If you prefer, you can fill the glass with the coffee ice cubes and keep adding hot coffee and a little cream or milk.
These are all the steps! I hope you enjoy this simple life hack

There are many things that  bring me happiness. In this post, I will share 10 of those many things. I will start with Food. Food to me is one of the best things in the world. Eating brings me joy because it fills a hole in my stomach, and a hole in my heart. Another thing is my family. Spending time with my family bring me happiness. Whether we are watching T.v, going out to eat, or even driving in the car. I enjoy all these things. Pets make me happy because they are cute and soft. Paychecks make me super duper happy because knowing I earned the money that I make giving me a feeling of satisfaction. Sleeping and taking naps also bring me instant happiness because I always feel well rested and ready for the day. Listening to music as well because it sets my mood for the day, and it is normally positive moods that I am always in. A fully charged phone battery gives me a good feeling too. I also get happy when I receive compliments. This is because this person is taking time out of their day to say something nice. Getting an A on a test makes me incredibly elated. These are some of the many things that bring me happiness.
